Mcdonald's Corporation Contributes $100,000 to CBCF For Katrina Relief Funds

On January 6, 2006, CBCF received an additional $100,000 toward its Katrina Relief Fund from McDonald's Corporation. In a letter from the company, Ralph Alvarez, President of McDonald's North America and Don Thompson, COO of McDonald's USA, LLC expressed that, '…together, our resources will go a long way towards alleviating some of the suffering that these families have experienced.' The McDonald's Corporation's contribution now elevates the total amount raised for the Katrina Relief Fund to $455,250.
