Alumni Network

The CBCF Alumni Association represents a very strong group of individuals destined to make a difference; your strength as a collective is certainly incomparable. Many CBCF alumni have expressed the desire to form an official organization and the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation wholeheartedly supports the idea of a CBCF Alumni Association and will assist with such efforts in all ways possible, but you, the alumni, must carry this endeavor forward.

The idea of establishing an alumni association has been discussed, explored, and is now ready for implementation. Such an organization will have the ability to offer continuous educational enrichment, leadership development, and career development. Through this association, alumni of the Graduate Intern Program, the Congressional Fellows Program, the Public Health Fellows Program, the Congressional Internship Program, and the Eleanor Holmes Norton Internship Program will be provided with business and political networking opportunities among former CBCF Fellows and Interns. Products to be developed could include an alumni directory, an alumni speakers' bureau, a newsletter, a web page, alumni reunions, and alumni fundraising events.

The timing is right for such an effort; never before have CBCF Alumni from different programs and program years had such access to each other. A successful alumni association must be alumni driven - it's up to you. CBCF looks forward to helping to make this happen.

Many of you have moved since your participation in our programs. We want to include your correct information in the CBCF Alumni Directory and we want to be able to keep you updated regarding alumni activities.
