In commemoration of the sixth month anniversary of the earthquake in Haiti, the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s (CBCF) Haitian Relief Fund will provide three humanitarian organizations with a combined donation of $100,000 for the relief and rebuilding work they are doing in Haiti. Partners In Health will receive $50,000 for their efforts and CARE USA and the American Red Cross will each receive $25,000 for their work since the devastating earthquake of January 12. The check presentation took place today, July 15, at the Embassy of Haiti in Washington D.C.
