CBCF News is the official newsletter of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. It is published four times a year and is intended to provide an in-depth look at how CBCF is implementing its mission. Also in each edition, various CBC members offer opinions about issues and concerns impacting the country and their districts and detail what steps they as elected representatives are taking to help make a difference.

CBCF’s 38th Annual Legislative Conference was a dynamic and historic success. The four-day event, held Sept 24-27, 2008, in Washington, had something for everyone. The 42 CBC members once again headlined the weekend, including the Democratic presidential nominee, Sen. Barack Obama. “Hello, CBC!” he said before receiving a Phoenix Award at the Awards Dinner. Don’t miss this 20-page photo gallery of one of the most exhilarating ALCs ever. (PDF)
