CBCF Delegation Visits South Africa
A CBCF delegation visited health-related sites and met with health officials in South Africa, Nov. 27-Dec. 2, 2007. CBCF President Elsie L. Scott, Ph.D., Rep. Barbara Lee of California and Del. Donna M. Christensen of the U.S. Virgin Islands led the delegation.

2007 Annual Legislative Conference (ALC)
CBCF produced another dynamic and successful Annual Legislative Conference, Sept. 26-29 at the Washington Convention Center. The four-day conference featured dozens of policy forums, general sessions, exhibits, a job fair, book signings and network opportunities.

2007 CBCF Summer Interns
Forty-one college students and graduates spent the summer gaining experience on Capitol Hill as part of CBCF’s coveted annual Congressional Summer Internship Program. The interns worked for nine weeks in the offices of Congressional Black Caucus members.

2007 CBCF Heritage Celebration
As part of their continuing collaboration, CBCF and the CBC joined together for a night of celebration, on Feb. 15, 2007, at the Lincoln Theater in Washington, for a Black History Month program honoring the culture and achievements of African Americans.
