1. Who is eligible to apply for the Ally Financial Public Policy Scholars Program?
African American and Black scholars who are rising juniors or seniors pursuing an undergraduate degree in public policy or related discipline including but not limited to political science or public administration.

2. What is the monetary award for selected recipients?
The selected recipients will receive an award in the amount of $10,000.

3. How is the Ally Financial Public Policy Scholars Program award disbursed?
The full award is disbursed once for the academic year directly to the academic institution of attendance. The award will be divided evenly between the fall and spring semesters.

4. To apply for the Ally Financial Public Policy Scholars Program do I have to be a constituent of a Congressional Black Caucus Member’s district?
No. The Ally Financial Public Policy Scholars Program scholarship is open to all applicants pursuing a degree focused on a career in public policy. Please review eligibility requirements prior to applying.

5. How do I renew my Ally Financial Public Policy Scholars Program scholarship?
The Ally Financial Public Policy Scholars Program award is not renewable. Each year eligibility requirements must be met along with submission of an application and required documents.

Yes. Ally Financial will provide professional development sessions for recipients to attend.
