Quincy Rasin was born and raised in New Bern, North Carolina. He pursued his undergraduate degree in Public Policy and Administration at Wagner College in New York City, and his Master’s in Public Health and Health Equity from Xavier University of Louisiana.
His professional career spans just over eight years, covering areas like higher education, city government, and policy research—with every role grounded in a clear goal: to create equitable systems that empower historically marginalized communities. His research and academic work have focused on the intersections of education, housing, and health equity. Additionally, he is a published author and owner of the KeepOnDayDreaming (KODD) brand. His long-term career vision is to influence policy at the national level, in economic and community development, particularly supporting marginalized communities.
