The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Alumni Network Council welcomed families, friends, alumni, and community members from across the DMV to You’re Invited to the Cookout, a vibrant celebration of community and connection held at The Hall at CP in College Park, Maryland.
The family-friendly event featured free food, local vendors, wellness resources, carnival games, children’s activities, line dancing, Beats & Bingo, music, raffles, a Health Expo, and voter registration opportunities, along with chances to connect with organizations serving communities across the DMV.
The celebration also included remarks and appearances from special guests, including CBC Member and Congressman Glenn Ivey, and reflected the spirit of CBCF’s 50th Anniversary—honoring five decades of impact while celebrating community, culture, and connection.
