The 114th Congress boasts the largest CBC in the history of the Congress.
WASHINGTON, Jan. 6, 2015—The Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Incorporated (CBCF) will host the ceremonial swearing-in of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) for current and newly-elected members of the 114th Congress. Rep. Chaka Fattah, CBCF board chairman, will honor incoming CBC Chairman, G.K. Butterfield of the 1st District of North Carolina and CBC members of the 114th Congress. The ceremony will include remarks from Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi, Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer and Rep. James E. Clyburn.
Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 9 a.m.
The ceremony will take place in the Capitol Visitor Center Auditorium in the U.S. Capitol Building located at Independence Avenue and First Street in Washington, D.C. This event is closed to the public.
